The Australian dollar fell after the announcement of the meeting minutes, dropping by about 15 points to a low of around 0.7695. The New Zealand dollar/U.S. dollar fell a few points. Since then, the two have become a little bit apart. US dollar/Canadian dollar and US dollar/Japanese yen. The scope of all these is very small. Gold bulls hit daily lows, bringing gold prices back to US$1,860. As the U.S. dollar strengthens, all eyes will be on the Fed. The FOMC focused on the US dollar before.
